Welcome to The Hit Pit, Eden Prairie’s premier indoor batting cages, proudly family-owned and operated. As local baseball and softball enthusiasts, we recognized a need in our community—there just wasn’t a convenient, year-round space for players to get their reps in, rain or shine. So, we decided to build one ourselves.

We live right here in Eden Prairie! My wife Julie and I have been playing slowpitch softball for over 25 years, so we truly understand the love of the game. Our son, Levi, plays baseball, and our daughter, Lina, plays softball. Both kids also swim for the Foxjets Swim Team. I, Rob, have coached baseball for many seasons and understand the importance of consistent practice.

The Hit Pit was created with one simple goal in mind: to give players and teams a dedicated, accessible space to train, improve, and stay sharp—no matter the season. Whether you're working on your swing, dialing in your pitching, or running team drills, our facility is here to support your goals.

We’re more than just a batting cage—we’re a local hub for player development and a place where passion for the game meets consistent, quality practice time. From Little League to varsity, from travel teams to casual weekend warriors, The Hit Pit is for anyone who wants to put in the work and have some fun while doing it.
